All the cams and tracking data is uploaded with an Aircard every 30 to 60 seconds.
HelmCam is captured with a Logitech QuickCam Pro9000. ScreenCam (when active) is captured from a laptop built in cam.
Tracking data is converted and uploaded with GOOPS using a Globalsat bluetooth GPS receiver sharing its data thru Franson GPSGate with OpenCPN navigation software. In US waters, uploads are done using an ATT aircard, outside cell. coverage uploads are done using wifi when available. MobileCam is captured and uploaded from an Iphone using the PhoneCam app, using ATT when available or wifi outside coverage area.
