Services
We will custom tailor a program suited to YOUR needs
on your boat covering everything from operating tips
to docking and anchoring... The following is a summary
of our most popular courses which may be adjusted
depending on your skills and experience.

Full Day Course (8 hours) - $ 275
- Review of systems and operating procedures. Engine
room check, safety equipment, on board systems.
- Close quarter handling : leaving the slip/dock,
basic handling exercises, docking alongside, backing
into a slip.
- Advanced docking : spring lines, tight spots
- Anchoring techniques
- Practical navigation : review of your area, best
routes / destinations procedures, etc...

Half Day Course (4 hours) - $ 150
- Close quarter handling : leaving the slip/dock,
basic handling exercises, docking alongside, backing
into a slip.
- Anchoring techniques

Additional Day (8 hours) - $250
Additional Half Day (4 hours) - $125
If your spouse wants his or her own time at the helm
or if you want to review any part of the course in
a more detailed manner, you can add an extra half
day or full day at a discounted rate.
Additional time can be scheduled the following day
or can be aranged at a later time so you can practice
your improved skills on your own and have us help
you with any specific area you need to work on.

Nighttime Navigation (4 hours) - $ 150
( $ 150 with any other course)
Operating your boat under the stars can be very rewarding
and enjoyable but can also be downright scary the
first time around as even familiar waters can look
very different at night. Build your confidence level
!
Course including basic nighttime operations, rules,
navigation, and general tips.

be scheduled any day of the week, although we recommend
week days to avoid crowds on the water

I am a boater at heart, who loves being out on the water;
I enjoy sharing this passion with others and help them get
the most out of their boating experience. I have 25 years
experience on the water operating boats up to 80'+; my current
personal boat is a Hatteras 53 Motoryacht on which Iive
aboard full time and which I routinely operate singlehanded.
I have cruised the waters of South Florida and the Keys
as well as the ICW up to New England, the Gulf coast and
parts of the Caribbean and the Bahamas. I am also a commercial
pilot (multi engine / instrument).
